Cumberland Trail: Possum Creek Gorge

Saturday, October 23 — Possum Creek Gorge section of the Cumberland Trail.  Out and back from Heiss Mountain trailhead to Little Possum Creek bridge.  About 7.5 miles.  Moderately strenuous/strenuous due to elevation changes.  Deep gorges, two bridge crossings, interesting rock formations, and hopefully an unobscured overlook.  Please register with Bob Caperton, 423-902-7898, rhcaperton@aol.com.  Meet at Durham St., Soddy Daisy at 8:30 am.
