Davy Crockett State Park

Meet at Lexington, TN Court Square across from the Princess theater at 8:15 to drive to Lawrenceburg. Or meet at covered bridge area of DCSP between 10:15 – 10:30. 

We will proceed across the bridge through the “owl” habitat and on to Crawfish Trail around to Lake Road Trail.  Join the Trail of Tears trail to Turkey Ridge to the park office area.  We will walk on the road over to Shoal Creek Trail which ends at Crockett Falls/covered bridge. 

Estimate length is 5.8 – 6 miles.  Slight elevation. We will walk through a waterfall so be prepared to take off shoes or possibly get feet wet.  Bring plenty of water, snacks.  We plan to eat at Hwy 55 Cafe after hiking.
