Bledsoe Creek State Park. Gallatin. High Ridge Trail and the Shoreline Trail. 2.8 miles total rated moderate. Bledsoe Creek State Park is located on the backwaters of Old Hickory Lake and surrounded on three sides by water and forest. Both trails have nice scenery and lake views. You may need a hiking pole on the High Ridge trail for short but steep climbs. We will also go through the historic campsite display. We may check out the Mayo Wix Trail, which includes a children’s storybook section, or the Birdsong Interpretive Trail- both are about a mile and ADA paved. Pack snacks, lunch and plenty of water.
