Frozen Head State Park Camping and Hiking

August 11-14 – Frozen Head State Park Camping and Hiking.  We have reserved a group campsite at the Flat Fork Campground, arriving August 11 for three nights.  This campground is “air conditioned” by the creek and heavy shade. Please contact Joan Hartvigsen for a spot in the group campsite, jhartvigs@comcast.net or 931-636-2914.  This is a multi chapter event.  Wednesday’s hike:  Judge Branch Trail. Thursday hike:  Rocky Fork,Ross Gap, Bird Mountain, Cumberland Trails combo (see Nashville listing).  Friday hike:  North Old Mac Trail to Panther Branch Trail, spur to Emory Falls and DeBord Falls, continue on Panther Branch Trail to road leading back to Flat Fork Campground.  Please register for Thursday’s hike with Mark Hubbard.
