Monte Sano offers a combination of unique geographic features and scenic views and we’ll see an array of beautiful spring wildflowers. For part 1, we’ll head down the Sinks Trail and circle back on the Stone Cuts Trail. For part 2, we’ll hike across the South Plateau Loop, down the McKay Hollow Trail, and return on the North Plateau Loop. Pack snacks, plenty of water, and a lunch. Wear footwear appropriate for rugged and sometimes muddy trail; poles are recommended. Don’t forget bug and sun protection. We should complete part 1 around Noon and part 2 by 4 PM. Alternate date for inclement weather: Wednesday April 16th.
