Percy Warner Park, Warner Woods Trail

Wednesday. May 12. Percy Warner Park, Warner Woods Trail, Nashville. 3.5 Miles. Moderate. We will hike the 3.0 mile loop trail plus .5 mile on 2 side trails to Luke Lea heights overlook and the Percy Warner Steps at the original park entrance at the end of Belle Meade Blvd.(recently restored to their famous 1930’s WPA glory). The trail has lots of shade and has areas of rock and roots as well as some moderately steep areas. Dogs on leash welcome. Bring water, walking sticks, and sturdy shoes. Portable restrooms at trailhead; better ones at Nature Center (7311 Highway 100). We will meet at Glenbrook Kroger at 9 AM to caravan or you can meet us at 10 AM at the Deep Well Trailhead off Hwy. 100 about .5 mile north of Old Hickory Blvd. and the Nature Center.
