Red Leaves Trail, Natchez Trace State Park 4th Leg of series
March 6, 2021 @ 8:30 am
This is the 4th leg of Red Leaves Trail at Natchez Trace State Park near Wildersville/Yuma, TN. We will meet at the Cub Lake Lodge (approximately 4-5 miles past the headquarters/visitor’s center). Terry will lead the hike from the lodge across two footbridges of the serene Cub Lake, past the cabins and into the woods. From there we will skirt the edge of Cub Lake backwaters and thru the woods crossing Parsons Road to the “big culvert” and from there to Sulphur Fork and on to Idem East trail/dirt road totaling around 5.5 miles. A vehicle will be parked at Idem East trail to take us back to the lodge parking lot so that we do not have to do a reverse hike back to Cub Lake. Please bring snacks, water and wear comfortable, weather appropriate clothing. You must register with Terry at 731.535.0625 or email@example.com by Friday night, March 5 at 7:00 p.m. so that we don’t leave you behind.
