Tennessee River Paddle

June 4 @ 8:00 am – 3:00 pm

June 4 –  Tennessee River Gorge Paddle.  8 miles.  Suck Creek boat ramp to Raccoon Mountain boat ramp,  Marion County, TN.  Joint event with the Murfreesboro Chapter. Meet at the Suck Creek Boat Ramp, 1900 Suck Creek Road, Chattanooga at 8 am CDT to arrange a vehicle shuttle to our take out at Raccoon Mountain boat ramp.  This paddle passes through Prentice Cooper State Forest.  We will see Bald Eagles, Osprey, turtles and otters.   Please register with Joan Hartvigsen, jhartvigs@comcast.net or 931-636-2914. Bring a lot of water, snacks, lunch, binoculars, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen. Please wear your PFD.
