Friday. July 15. Trails at Fontanel, Nashville. 2.2 miles. Easy to moderate. This short hike in the woods surrounding the former home of Barbara Mandrell does require a climb up the hillside and has some roots along the way. Under the canopy of trees, this is an ideal hike for the hot July weather. This pet-friendly trail allows dogs on leashes. Meet at 8:30 am CST at Glenbrook Kroger, 1010 Glenbrook Way, Hendersonville to caravan, or meet us at the trailhead on 4125 Whites Creek Pike, Nashville, TN, the old Cafe Fontanella parking lot at 9:00 am We will begin the hike at 9.
