Tuesday – Murfreesboro Chapter Meeting

Chapter Meeting – 7:00 pm CT. Barfield Crescent Park Wilderness Station. 401 Volunteer Road. SPEAKER RESCHEDULED FROM OCTOBER 11 meeting. John Lamb of the Sam Davis Home and Plantation in Smyrna will be our speaker. He will be speaking on motifs and their meanings on headstones. The Sam Davis Home is a Greek Revival home and one of the top cultural and historic attractions in Middle Tennessee. On the property, there two historic homes, several outbuildings, slave quarters, and the family cemetery.
