Saturday, May 13 —Coker Creek Falls, moderate, 590’ el. gain, 6.5 miles, with an optional second hike to Turtletown Falls Trail, 3.8 miles, 570’ elevation gain. A great hike along rowdy creeks, but with several blowdowns to get over, through, or around. Check the weather forecast and choose appropriate layers; wear hiking shoes or boots; bring snacks and/or lunch along with more water than you think you need; and gather up hiking poles, rain jacket, sunscreen, and insect repellent as needed.
