Franklin Greenway

Wednesday, December 6 – Franklin Greenway in downtown Franklin, 5 miles. Easy. Paved. Out and back; for a shorter walk, turn around wherever you want. Much of the trail is along the Harpeth River. Park on N. 2nd Ave between Bridge St. and N. Margin St. (alongsideRiverside Franklin home decor store, 144 Bridge St. @ N. 2nd Ave.). The trail begins about 1 block north at N. Margin St. and N. 2nd Ave. Carpoolers meet at Glenbrook Kroger, 1010 Glenbrook Way, Hendersonville at 8:45 a.m., or at the greenway at 10 a.m. After the hike, we can explore the Christmas atmosphere of downtown Franklin and have lunch.
