Promoting the development and enjoyment of Tennessee trails.
Tuesday, April 16. Radnor Lake State Park. Approximately 4.2 miles. Moderate difficulty with 550 feet of elevation gain. Hiking boots, trekking poles and adequate water are recommended. We’ll start at the Walter Criley Visitor Center, hike the Lake Trail (clockwise direction around lake), climb the Ganier Ridge Trail (clockwise) then reconnect to the Lake trail. From there we join the South Lake Trail which will put us out on Otter Creek Road back to the visitor center. Carpooling suggested because the park is very popular and parking lot is congested. Meet at the Kroger parking lot on Glenbrook Way in Hendersonville at 9:00 a.m. for carpooling. If meeting the group at the visitor center let George Palma know at 916-704-2064 or xcmtb1947@gmail.com. We’ll hit the trail at 10:00 a.m.
