CT Upper Piney River Spring City, TN.

plateau, upper-cumberland

November 6 @ 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Wednesday November 6 – CT Upper Piney River, Spring City, TN. Joint hike with Upper

Cumberland Chapter. We’ll start on the southern end of the newly opened Upper Piney Section and hike North. Long Hike: Choice of in/out 8 mi total or 12 mi thru hike to Shut-in Gap Road. Both are strenuous/difficult due to lots of steps and elevation change. Short Hike: 4 or 5 mile in/out. Bring hiking poles, wear hiking boots, (electrolytes) water, lunch and a snack. Don’t forget tick/bug spray and sunscreen. Persons 18 and over, members and non-members welcome. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Depart 8:00 am CST from the southeast parking lot of Central Baptist Church, 1346 S Main St, Crossville. Carpool fee $6.00 Deb text/call 931-267-2243
