Civil War Battle Grounds

November 5 @ 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

Tuesday and Wednesday, November 5 and 6.  Overnight trip to Civil War Battle grounds Corinth, MS and Shiloh, TN.  Leave Gallatin at 8:30 am to drive to the Corinth Civil War Interpretive Center (501 West Linden, Corinth, MS) via 40 West.  My GSP shows this as the quickest route at 3 hours and 15 minutes.  After touring Corinth we will drive to Pickwick Landing State Park Lodge (120 Playground Loop, Counce, TN, 888-867-2757) and check in to our rooms.  Reservations can be made online and can be canceled without charge up until 48 hours before check in.  The next morning (November 7) we checkout and then tour Shiloh battlegrounds.  We return home going through Waynesboro possibly stopping for a meal at Emerald Restaurant, 126 Public Square West, Waynesboro, TN.  Continue from there to Columbia and 65 North.  Please let Marcia Powell know if you plan to go.  Mpow1221@gmail.com or text 217-855-3013
