Nathan Bedford Forrest State Park

Carpooling: 7:00 AM departure from Tollgate Medical Plaza Parking lot, 1106 Elliston Way, Thompson’s Station, TN 37179
Hike Information:
1) Hike duration: Six miles
2) Hike type: Moderate to difficult. Some hills are steep.
3) We will be hiking the Pilot Knob and Chester Hollow Trails under a forest canopy for most of the hike, up and down hills and at times along the Tennessee River.
4) Prior to the start of the hike, we will visit the Pilot Knob Interpretive Center at the trailhead.
5) Pets allowed but must be on a leash.
6) Restrooms at Visitor and Interpretive Centers.
7) After the hike we will have lunch at a restaurant.
