Big Hill Pond near Pocahontas, TN

We will meet at the parking lot at the south end of the lake with more specific instructions at time of registration. We will then carpool to the boat ramp. From there we will follow the trail going to and around the south end of the lake and then take the Azalea Loop trail that follows a ridge around railroad tracks. This will meet up with the Dismal Swamp boardwalk and then up to the Lookout Tower. We will then head back south along the lake to the original parking lot. This is approximately 6 miles. Sturdy boots, hiking poles, water and a sack lunch are recommended. Registration is required.
