Thursday-Saturday, June 20-22 – Camping at Bandy Creek Campground. Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area, Jamestown. Joint event with the Highland Rim chapter. We are camping in A Loop, a tent only area. Thursday afternoon after setting up tents, we will hike in the Leatherwood Ford area. Friday, we are hiking at Pogue Creek Canyon near Pickett State Park. The Pogue Creek Canyon hike is 7 miles rated moderately strenuous for terrain and elevation change. For camping information, contact Joan Hartvigsen at 931-636-2914 or jhartvigs@comcast.net.
