CT Radar Tower Rd Section, Grandview, TN

plateau, upper-cumberland

September 4 @ 7:30 am – 3:00 pm

Joint hike with Upper Cumberland Chapter. New adventure for us. Long Hike: Moderate to strenuous 8 mi hike heading South on a section of trail we haven’t hiked before with views of the Sequatchie Valley. Short Hike: 4-5 moderate to strenuous miles. We’ll hike out and back starting from about the junction of Happy Top and Radar Tower Roads. Bring (electrolytes) water, hiking sticks, lunch and a snack. Don’t forget tick/bug spray and sunscreen. Persons 18 and over, members and non-members welcome. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Carpool cost is $3. Depart 7:30 am CDST from the Central Baptist Church, South Main St, Crossville, TN.
