Daniel Boone National Forest, KY- Split Bow Arch, Bear Creek Ovelook, Big Shoals.

plateau, upper-cumberland

May 22 @ 7:30 am – 5:00 pm

Long Hike: This will be a moderate 7 miles in/out. After seeing the arch and overlook we’ll hike along the Kentucky Wild River to Big Shoals and return. Short Hike: 5 miles in/out. Depart 7:30 am CDST from The Landers Crossing (former Crossville Outlet Mall) West parking lot on Interstate Drive. Carpool cost is $10. Wear good sturdy hiking boots and hiking sticks are recommended. Bring lunch, snacks, (electrolytes) water, bug spray and sunscreen.
