Promoting the development and enjoyment of Tennessee trails.
Thursday, November 7. Hendersonville’s Heritage Park. 119 East Drive, Hendersonville. Looking forward to a fall colors hike at Hendersonville’s Heritage Park (Batey Farm). Meet at this location at 10:00 am. We’ll walk about 2.5 miles including the perimeter trail of the lower tract and the pedestrian trail through the hilltop tract. Along the way we’ll identify the trees providing the various shades of fall color. We will stop at two vantage points that allow vistas of the Nashville skyline and the high peaks of the Highland Rim near Hartsville. The walk will be mostly easy on either mowed grass or mulched foot paths. There will a couple of short, steep climbs. For more information or questions, contact Hike leader Joey Holland at 615-403-2217.
