Explore this 3.9-mile loop trail near Nashville, Tennessee. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it may take approximately 2 hours to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking, running, and walking, so we will likely encounter other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime.
This trail extends off the Volunteer Trail at Long Hunter State Park. It is considered a great trail to enjoy when in the Nashville area. From about the midway point on the Volunteer loop, the trail leaves the loop to follow the shore of Percy Priest Lake to two campsites. Overall, this is a nice hike with a great destination. Dogs are welcome on a leash.
