Saturday July 6, 2024 – Nashville Urban Hike, Nashville, TN. We will attempt to outpace the rising sun and heat of mid-day by starting at 8:30 am – meeting at the carillon bells at north end of Bicentennial Mall. A bit of an Independence Day theme be woven into the hike. Free parking available at Farmer’s Market or near Tn State Museum. Walking route and attractions include the bicentennial mall, the State Capitol, War Memorial Plaza, the Public Square and Davidson County Courthouse, views of the Cumberland River, statues of iconic people in Nashville’s history, and side trips into Printer’s Alley, Arcade Allay, and other shortcuts.
