North Chickamauga Creek State Park, CT Trailhead Barker Camp Road, Dunlap, TN

plateau, upper-cumberland

October 12 @ 7:30 am – 4:00 pm

Joint hike with Upper Cumberland Chapter. Long Hike: 8 mi round trip moderate to strenuous. Short Hike: 4-5 mi round trip moderate to strenuous. We’ll hike South toward Lone Oak past the Furnace Rockhouse and Vortex Falls. Bring hiking poles, (electrolytes) water, lunch and a snack. Don’t forget tick/bug spray and sunscreen. Sturdy hiking boots are recommended. Persons 18 and over, members and non-members welcome. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Sturdy hiking boots are recommended. Carpool cost is $7.
