Promoting the development and enjoyment of Tennessee trails.
We will be hiking the Lilly Bluff Point Trail after checking out the view from the Overlook. Afterward those who want to can hike the half mile to the Boulder Trail and watch rock climbers scale the huge boulders. Poles are recommended due to one rock scramble and a water crossing. The total roundtrip will be 4 miles or 5 miles if the Boulder Trail is included. The Point Trail is a beautiful walk along the ridge that separates the Obed River from Clear Creek before the two join together. We will meet to carpool at Books A Million, 310 South Illinois Ave in Oak Ridge at 8:00 am. There is a small parking lot and pit toilets at the Lilly Bluff Overlook Parking Lot. We can eat lunch after the hike in Wartburg or Oak Ridge. For questions, please contact Sally White at saw2@att.net .
