Peacock Hill Nature Park – College Grove

Saturday, March 8 – Peacock Hill Nature Park. 6990 Giles Hill Road, College Grove. 6 miles rated moderately strenuous for elevation change. Joint hike with the Nashville chapter. This park has 246 acres that include 6 interconnected trails, a visitor center and several dramatic overlooks. We’ll spend time on open prairie as well as a tree canopy, and hiking gravel, dirt, farm road and mowed grass trails. Bring water and snacks. We’ll meet at the Visitor Center at 8:30 am but please register so you can be contacted in case of inclement weather. For more information or to sign up call or text Jay Brain at 757-577-6446.
