Promoting the development and enjoyment of Tennessee trails.
Tuesday. May 6. Radnor Lake State Park. Approximately 4.2 miles, moderate difficulty with 550 feet of elevation gain. 10:00 am. Hiking boots, trekking poles and adequate water are recommended. We’ll start at the Walter Criley Visitor Center, hike the Lake Trail (clockwise direction around lake), climb the Ganier Ridge Trail (clockwise) then reconnect to the Lake trail. From there we join the South Lake Trail which will put us out on Otter Creek Road back to the visitor center. Meet at the Boot Barn parking lot on Long Hollow Pike in Goodlettsville at 9:15 a.m. for carpooling. Carpooling is suggested because the park is very popular and the parking lot becomes congested. If meeting the group at the visitor center, let David Hobbs know (803-634-3470). We’ll hit the trail at 10:00 am.
