Promoting the development and enjoyment of Tennessee trails.
Saturday, Dec. 7 – Shelby Bottoms, Shelby Park, Nashville TN. 4 miles. Easy. We will take a leisurely hike/walk on the back trails ( off the paved greenway) of Shelby Bottoms. These trails are wide, wooded, completely flat and off the beaten pathway of all the runners and bikers. Meet at the Forrest Green Trailhead, which is at the end of Forrest Green Dr. in East Nashville. You can use your phone’s GPS to get you there, if you plug in Forrest Green Dr. For those wanting a little more exercise, park at the Shelby Bottoms Nature Center and ride your bike for 4 miles on the paved greenway to the trailhead to meet the rest of the group. Bring water, snacks and good walking shoes, boots won’t be necessary. Lunch afterwards at one of East Nashville’s fine eating establishments. For more information, meeting time, and to register, text, or call Nancy Juodenas at 615-319-8811 or email at njlj1011@gmail
