Standing Indian Camping and Hiking

Tuesday, May 13-Friday, May 16, 2025 – Camping at Standing Indian Campground, Franklin, NC. Hiking the Appalachian Trail and other nearby trails. This gorgeous  campground is inside Nantahala National Forest.  The Nantahala River flows through the campground.  The campground provides access to numerous trails, including the Appalachian Trail.  We have reserved a group campsite.  We have access to flush toilets and hot showers.  Contact Joan Hartvigsen, jhartvigs@comcast.net or 931-636-2914, to secure a spot.
