Suter and Horsepound Falls

Thursday, April 11 –  Suter Falls and Hoursepound Falls, Savage Gulf South/Collins Gulf.  5.2 miles out and back on the Collins Gulf Trail.  Moderate to difficult due to rocky trail.  This hike has a lot to offer:  Rocky Mountain Creek rockhouse, two awesome waterfalls, sinks, lush spring wildflowers, a water-carved canyon, sandstone overlooks and the Collins River.  Contact Marietta Poteet for more information and to register, nannietta@benlomand.net or 931-924-7666.  Trailhead address:  2689 55th Avenue, Gruetli-Laager, TN.
