2023 Annual Meeting Fundraising
We need your help!
We are asking each chapter to find donors for five or six quality auction items. Most often these donations come from local businesses that willingly support TTA’s mission. Donated items have included such things as bed and breakfast weekends, hotel stays, framed prints, outdoor gear, home decor, and even gift certificates for groceries and massages. How about something from the liquor store? Maybe something one-of-a-kind such as a personally guided hike, a home prepared gourmet meal, or a special night on the town!!! Of course, cash donations from your chapter are always welcome in lieu of, or in addition to merchandise. For our Bake Sale, we need baked goods such as home–made pies, fresh fruit, and loaves of bread have been favorites. Single–serving wrapped packages of home–made or even store-bought cookies, brownies or granola bars fit nicely in a pack for hiking.
Direct Donation: See this option on the Meeting Registration form
Silent Auction: Valuable items donated by vendors or members – auction bids can be written down on the item’s form until 6 pm Saturday night.
Bake Sale: Baked goods available on the Bake Sale table in the meeting room
Funds received will go toward the Evan Means Grant Program. Individual Chapters may also have fundraising or sales programs. Forms for soliciting auction items are linked below, and they have been forwarded to all Chapter Chairs.
Silent Auction items will require use of at least some of the following forms:
The Donor Solicitation Letter is here. Give this letter to a potential donor to explain why we are raising funds.
The Donor Receipt is here. Fill this out and give it to the donor for their records – the donated item may be claimed as a tax deduction.
The Donated Item form is here. Fill out this triplicate form and bring it with the item to the meeting.
