Promoting the development and enjoyment of Tennessee trails.
Due to the popularity of Radnor Lake State Park (1160 Otter Creek Rd, Nashville, TN 37220), we are hiking the area on a Friday rather than a weekend day. It is a popular state natural area and state park in Oak Hill, Tennessee within Nashville. The 1,368 acres nature preserve lies just outside Nashville. Five miles of unpaved trails wander through the woods
surrounding the lake. Radnor Lake is the most visited park in the Tennessee State Park system.
We will hike the Lake Trail and the South Lake Trail. Most of the hike is moderate – there is a slight ascent to the South Lake Trail. If you want to carpool from Spring Hill/Thompson’s Station area, we will leave Tollgate Medical Plaza (1106 Elliston Way, Thompson’s Station) at 8:00 a.m. Otherwise we will meet you at the Nature Center at Radnor Lake at 9 a.m. Restrooms are available in the Nature Center. Dogs are NOT allowed on the trails at
Radnor Lake. Dogs are only welcome on the paved areas of the park.
