Tenessee River Gorge Paddle

Sunday, June 23 – Tennessee River Gorge Paddle. 8 miles. Suck Creek Boat Ramp to Raccoon Mountain in Marion County, west of Chattanooga. Joint event with the Highland Rim chapter. Meet at the Suck Creek Road boat ramp, 1900 Suck Creek Road in Chattanooga at 8:00 am CT to arrange a vehicle shuttle to our takeout at the Raccoon Mountain boat ramp. Our voyage passes through Prentice Cooper State Forest, and we may see bald eagles, osprey, turtles and otters. Bring snacks, lunch, water and sunscreen.
